An athlete is eligible for Hall of Fame nomination no earlier than September 1 following his or her 10th Hill School class reunion. All alumni, including post-graduates, who completed one academic year at The Hill are eligible; ideally, the nominee has sustained interest in The Hill and has maintained the values of “Whatsoever things are true” as an alumnus/ae. A maximum of FIVE athletes will be inducted each year; there may be no more than one posthumous athlete induction.
Athletes who excelled in one sport will be considered, but additional consideration will be given to athletes who were significant contributors on two or three teams in recognition of and appreciation for the school’s multi-sport requirement, while also respecting the athlete’s individual prowess in one sport over another. Extra consideration also may be given to the athlete’s college athletic career, especially in the case of students who attended The Hill for less than two years, as well as for athletes who served as captains and team leaders.
