The week began with acclaimed poet Naomi Shihab Nye visiting The Hill as part of the 2010-11 "Writers at Work" series on Monday, April 4. She first spoke to several sections of students in the Humphrey Family Writing Center during D period before speaking to a large group of Hill community members in the Memorial Room in the evening. Tuesday was the final Revisit Day for newly admitted students and their families to return to campus and see a day in the life at The Hill. A week after voting for the 2011-12 Student Government Association and Honor Council, students returned to the polls to vote for next year's Sixth Form President and Vice President. Throughout the week, Paul Shiller '14 ran a snack bar as a Japan Relief Fundraiser.
