| Eric Davidheiser and Coach Ned Ide |
In 2008, Eric Davidheiser had a successful first year with Hill’s varsity boys’ lacrosse team, scoring 20 goals and having 20 assists for the season. This year, he will serve as a captain of the 2009 squad. Davidheiser also had success on the football field during the fall 2008 season and was named to the MAPL First-Team Offense. This fall, he will join the Division I men’s lacrosse team at Penn State University.
“Eric’s imposing size (6’2,” 220 pounds) is matched by his speed and intensity,” adds Head Coach Ned Ide. “Eric has the ability to take over a game with his athleticism, similar to All-American Kenny Clausen ’06 (now at University of Virginia). Eric has been committed to the idea of becoming a Division I lacrosse player at a highly-ranked school since he was in ninth grade. Penn State is getting a player in the middle of his upward arc as a player. We’re proud of how he represents our lacrosse program and our school.” Please click here to read an interview with Eric that appeared on walax.com.
