•Retired academic ophthalmologist

•Faculty appointments: The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and Cornell University Medical Center in New York

•Spent a cumulative four years of surgery and teaching in numerous developing countries

•Former: Markle Scholar in Academic Medicine, Chairman of the American Board of Ophthalmology, secretary of Continuing Education of the American Academy of Ophthalmology

•Published 160 original medical papers

•Founder and medical director of a not-for-profit organization, Project ORBIS

  • The Presidential Citizens Medal from President Reagan.
Whitney 'Trip' Sanders '96  

•Earned a B.A. from Bucknell University

•Environmental scientist for environmental consulting firm, Geologic Services in Windsor, Conn.

•Works primarily on retail underground storage tanks for petrochemical companies.

•Works with geologists, environmental scientists, and engineers to help large multinational petrochemical companies stay within federal, state, and local environmental regulations
