Laptops for Learning: All Hill students are required to purchase a laptop and the School has specific guidelines for what you’ll need. Laptops are a powerful tool for reference, research, and communication outside of the classroom, as well as important tools for enhancing learning in the classroom.
The Hill has developed a great relationship with Dell and all purchases made through our program come with a four-year, comprehensive service plan. The laptop purchase also includes an external hard-drive, which allows students to save non-academic material and produce a backup of all data. To provide the best service possible, with reliable and consistent performance across the network and all the programs we use, we require that all laptops run Windows (no emulators on Macs, no Linex, etc).
