With a low student-to-faculty ratio and a professional technology and library staff, The Hill is able to support our students in all educational endeavors.
By utilizing Blackboard, a web-based academic program, faculty and students are able to share classroom materials. We encourage all our faculty to post assignments, provide supplementary materials, link to helpful websites, pose questions, and much more. Hill's faculty and students have access to Blackboard at all times both on and off campus.
Across all disciplines, faculty members have integrated technology into their curriculum. Many teachers require students to bring their laptop to class for in-class work, presentations, communication, or research.
In the classrooms, many Hill faculty use SMART Boards, tablets, digital projectors, and their own laptops to engage students in learning with multi-media and collaboration tools. We also have a tech lab and digital language lab. Digital photo cameras, digital video cameras, iPods with microphones, computer microphones, scanners, and a large format printer also are all available for class projects.
