During the 2008 fall term, members of Ms. Hsiao-Ning Tu's Chinese 3 class completed an oral presentation project which reflected the accumulative progress of the curriculum up to that point. Throughout the term, students learned telephone etiquette and how to develop a meaningful conversation that stems from their real or imagined experience, hopes or wants in the target language.
Mrs. Tu filmed her students conducting telephone conversations with one another. The assignment stipulates that the paired students exchange their experience of meeting and engaging the person of their dreams in a social event.
