The Hill's School's Strategic Plan for 2007-2012 was adopted by the Board of Trustees at its meeting in June 2007.
Main initiatives include: enhancing core academic skills (such as public speaking, writing, research, and so forth); improving SAT scores and Hill's college profile; significantly strengthening and supporting the residential life program; improving faculty salaries and housing; supporting Pottstown improvement; strengthening all aspects of advancement; raising the Hill Fund to $3 million; launching the "For the Faculty" campaign and preparing for the coming capital campaign; reducing the School size from 495 to 485 students; and adopting the updated Campus Master Plan and working toward its completion.
The Strategic Planning was led by W. Christopher Drowne ’89, faculty co-chair and Marshall F. Wallach ’61, Trustee co-chair, as well as David R. Dougherty, headmaster, Charles A. Frank III ‘59, now an honorary member of the Board of Trustees, and Thomas McN. Millhiser ’67, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
