The Hill School celebrates Honor Awareness Week
The Hill School is celebrating Honor Awareness Week from January 9 through January 13, 2012. The Honor Council, led by co-presidents Ji Park '12 and Alex Evans '12, have planned a variety of activities for The Hill community to embrace our commitment to the School’s Honor Code and our motto, "Whatsoever things are true."
  • Every student will receive a personalized pen that includes a quote by Cicero: “Ability without honor is useless.”
  • At every seated lunch throughout the week, there will be a discussion question presented to encourage dialog around the theme of honor.
  • Beginning on Tuesday, there will be a campus-wide scavenger hunt to find the 20 Honor Council logos hidden around campus.
  • The Honor Council will perform a skit related to "honor" on Thursday during chapel period in the CFTA theatre.
  • During Tuesday’s “Family Night” in the dormitories, The Honor Council will provide scenarios and discussion activities to help focus students’ awareness of honor.
