Addy Colona '12 (Glenmoore, Pa.) Varsity Swimming & Diving
Addy has been a hard worker in practice, maintaining a consistently positive attitude, and has been a fish in the water during the meets. She’s already improved her times over last year in every event she has swum.
Will Garrett '15 (Yamouth, Maine) Varsity Wrestling
Will won his first wrestling match ever with a comeback pin over George School’s Zaid Walter. Trailing 12-5 entering the third period, Will reeled off five straight points and then went ahead of his opponent by earning near fall points before pinning him in 5:17.
Jane Hopkinson–Wood '14 (Pottstown, Pa.) 3rds Girls Basketball
Jane has been a leader on the team from day one. She brings her positive attitude to the court every day and is always willing to lend a helping hand to a teammate. We look forward to Jane utilizing her talents at our first game on Wednesday.
Courtney Mauk '14 (Wilmington, Del.) JV Swimming & Diving
Courtney agreed on short notice to travel with the varsity swim team to fill in for a swimmer who had become ill. She didn’t hesitate to swim in every event she was needed. She swam fast and showed a great positive attitude. Without Courtney, many girls would not have been able to swim in their relay events, so she really made a difference to the team.
Adam Regensburg '13 (Pottstown, Pa.) Varsity Boys’ Basketball
Adam’s relentless energy has been a huge spark to his team’s early-season success. The team’s hustle stat leader, Adam has been an invaluable defensive stalwart and rebounder, and is setting the tone for his team by doing whatever he can to help the team win.
Josh Silverstein '13 (Emmaus, Pa.) JV Boys’ Squash
Josh went 2-0 in matches during the first week of the JV season. His five game win was the only one recorded against a tough Conestoga team, and he cruised to a 3-0 win against his opponent from Blair, all while battling shin splints.
