Week of November 7-12

Anessa Amin '15 (Easton, Pa.) JV Field Hockey
Anessa has been a solid force in the center of the field all season. Her defensive play along with her ability to transition the ball and dodge defenders was a great asset to the team and helped set up the offense. Anessa became a great contributor to the team both on and off the field.

Kennedy Gallagher '15 (Phoenixville, Pa.) JV Girls’ Water Polo
Kennedy had her best all-around game of the season on Saturday against L’ville, scoring a goal and leading the team on both the offensive and defensive ends of the pool. She has improved dramatically this season.

Taylor Gorycki '13 (Phoenixville, Pa.) JV Girls’ Soccer
Taylor had 20 saves in the game against L’ville, shutting them out completely until the last few minutes of the game. Taylor’s amazing contribution as goalie helped the team achieve a 7-3-2 record.

Ariana Kathuria '15 (Hinsdale, Ill.) JV Girls' Tennis
Ariana led the team throughout the season with her excellent play and positive attitude. As the #1 singles player, she faced stiff competition and held her own in every match. She showed amazing leadership as a 3rd former and is always there to offer a hug to any teammate after a big win or difficult loss. She’s helped make practice fun each day and has a bright future in the program.

Jake Kim '15 (Seoul, Korea); Jake Myers '15 (Belmont, Mass.); Philip Winnick '15 (Ross, Calif.) 3rds Boys’ Soccer
Jake, Philip, and Jake are players that showed visible improvement over the course of the season. Jake Kim and Philip helped control play in the midfield and added to the potent attack, while Jake Myers worked tirelessly to anchor the defense. These three players demonstrated a commitment to the team and to the sport that contributed to the team's on-field success this season.
