The Hill School has made a commitment to strive for a culture where ethical excellence matches academic excellence by joining other independent schools in the Schools of the Future: Ethical Excellence program. Schools of the Future: Ethical Excellence is a collaboration with the Center for Spiritual and Ethical Education (CSEE), the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Institute for Excellence & Ethics, the Institute for Global Ethics, the Center for the 4th and 5th Rs, and psychologist and author Wendy Mogel (The Blessing of a Skinned Knee, The Blessing of a B-Minus).

The CSEE’s stated purpose of the program is to provide leading resources, expert voices, and an active forum for ethical growth and spiritual development in schools.
